Family Movie Night: Celebrate John Glenn
Join the Muskingum County Library System at Restoration Park in the historic Putnam area, for a fun family night. This year's theme will honor adventures in space through the years. These 3 movies will be shown at dusk throughout the summer (June 11, July 9, August 14 7-10pm). One at each event. "E.T. the Extra Terrestrial," "The Jetsons" and "First Men on the Moon.” Bring your blankets, enjoy family activities, food and star-gazing.

Join us as we commemorate astronaut, senator and beloved son, John H. Glenn Jr’s life and accomplishments. Born in Cambridge and raised in New Concord, John Glenn’s boyhood home in New Concord is now the “John and Annie Glenn Museum.”
Celebrate John Glenn’s 100th birthday! Grab your family and friends for free tours of the John & Anne Glenn Museum, a race, a parade, movies, aviation tours, food trucks, a NASA astronaut guest speaker and much more!

“The Friendship 7” John Glenn Centennial Celebration Parade
Join in the fun as a participant or a spectator! This parade includes presentations, activities for children and a free tours of the John & Annie Glenn Museum.  The parade starts in historic downtown Cambridge and runs westbound on Route 40 for nearly 9 miles to New Concord.
