Walkabout Creek Bear Cabin

Check out our new cabin, the Eagle cabin, if you prefer glamping! Stay in a cozy little cabin located in Blue Rock State Forest. Enjoy the quiet nights and sounds of nature, away from noise of the modern world. Venture out to the Blue Rock State Forest Bridal trails for a hiking adventure, drive (or hike!) on down to Cutler Lake for a swim, or drive up to road and experience The Wilds, the largest animal conservation safari in the United States! The space The bear cabin is a single room cabin with a queen bed and a bunk bed (2 twin beds). Pillows, linens and blankets provided. The cabin is equipped with a split unit heat pump for heating and cooling, 43" HD smart TV, free high speed Wi-Fi, mini fridge, microwave/convection oven combo, toaster, coffee maker, and small table. Outside you will find a park grill, fire ring, picnic table and a wide open field with trees to enjoy. This cabin does not have running water. Water/bathroom/shower is located ~400ft away. Guest access When arriving continue past High Hill and the farm house, up the hill to the office. Please follow the signs for the driveway as it is one way. Free parking is available. The cabin has a short (approx. 500ft) walk from the parking areas. I have a wagon you may use to transport your stuff over. Other things to note Please observe quiet time from 10pm to 8am. Smoking marijuana is banned on the property altogether, including vapes. Guests caught smoking will be made to leave with no refund, and a $150 cleaning fee if the cabin or other buildings are found to smell of marijuana due to their use.
