Across the street is the Muskingum River. Must climb steps to access; keyless entry. The space Comfortable and relaxing — a home a way from home in Zanesville, the second most charming town in Ohio. The open living space includes a great room with a lounge area, kitchen, and dining area. The living room windows and sliders are basically a glass wall. The living room has plenty of seating: couch, loveseat, recliner, chair, and 2 poofs. The windows and sliders open up to the wrap around deck. Solid oak table and chairs are in the dining area as well as an Island with seating. The kitchen is equipped so that you can cook a satisfying meal. The stackable washer and dryer are located next to the kitchen cabinets between the kitchen and dining area. Bedroom 1 includes small dressers with drawer storage as well as a closet with hangers. The workstation is near three large windows that offer great natural light. Bedroom 2 also has a small dresser and closet with hangers. A small desk and office chair allow you to work with a view of the river. Windows and sliders allow for natural light and access to the wrap around deck. The renovated bathroom has new flooring and fixtures. Towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided for the guests as well as makeup wipes. The deck is large. You may see our neighborhood deer, a cardinal, or a blue jay during your stay. The best views of the Muskingum River across the street are on the deck. A propane grill, along with two seating areas that include two tables and chairs await guests. The fire pit is ready for a quiet, relaxing bonfire at night. Spectrum internet and the Roku TV are available. If you are looking for a place to relax on a deck, sit by a fire pit, or play board games at the kitchen table, this might be the perfect place for you. Location: Several people going to The Wilds found our cottage to be a great fit for their trip. For motorcycle enthusiasts, we are near the northern terminus of SR 60 for SR 555 (Triple Nickel). Hunters can take advantage of the short drive to the Tri-Valley Wilderness Area and Dillion State Park. If your child plays sports in a tournament at Riverside Park, we are .9 miles from the park. If you have a boat, we are .9 from a public boat ramp. The location is rural, but about 7 minutes from restaurants. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire 2nd floor, deck, and side yard. Garage and carport on the ground floor are not included. The river is across the street, but there is not direct access to the river. Riverside Park is .9 miles away with a public boat ramp and dock.
