Upper Reservoir Trail
This trail is located on Shadyside Drive, in New Concord, just past the S. Bridge on the northwest side of US Rt. 40. Travel approximately 1 mile on Shadyside Drive, gravel road, to reach the Upper Reservoir entrance. The one mile trail is not officially marked with signage but is open to the public and is a very scenic 3 foot wide dirt trail with hills and bridges across swampy areas. Dogs permitted if on a leash or can be controlled by owner. All necessary shots must be up to date. Owner responsible for waste clean-up. Trail includes the Upper Reservoir lake. Fishing is permitted with a valid State of Ohio fishing license and a permit from the New Concord Village Hall for East Muskingum School District residents.
