The Clay Center of Ohio (formerly The National Ceramic Museum) exhibits include pottery made in southeastern Ohio. Early functional ware, art pottery and contemporary manufactured ware are well represented. The Museum gift shop includes pottery currently made by regional potteries and local potter artists. Stop here for local tourist information, including directions to pottery stores and galleries. On the museum grounds enjoy picnic sites and shelters for meetings & gatherings. Overnight visitors can take advantage of a campground with electric hook-ups or a cottage, The Ceramic Hide-Away.
