WHITE-TAILED DEER CORN MAZE

OPENS SEPTEMBER 10TH

White Tailed Buck” This year, owner James (“’Old”) McDonald cut his corn maze design after the state of Ohio’s massive mammal – the white-tailed deer.  Wildlife is the theme this year – the back woods has been cut out and trees and critters identified.  Take a peaceful walk through our enchanted forest.  You can touch a hornet’s nest, flint, oily lamb’s wool, beaver-cut logs, fox pelts, deer antlers and more..

What better way to spend a crisp, autumn afternoon.  Learning by having fun!  Now in its sixth year, the corn maze has become a family tradition.  Old McDonald sees the same families make the annual trek to the farm.  They gather up the grandparents and cameras each fall to get a hayride, pumpkins, mums and fresh apple cider.  Back this year, Pick Your Own Pumpkins.

For $5.00 per person (age 2 & under are free), one can defeat the five (5) acre corn maze, pet baby farm animals, take a hay wagon ride, play in a giant shelled corn box, pick a pumpkin, and lasso a longhorn. Don’t forget to take home a pumpkin roll or a caramel apple.

“Put on your jeans and boots and head on out to the farm.  What a perfect way to spend a crisp afternoon with your family, especially if they are wildlife-lovers,” continues Old McDonald.  Schedule your preschoolers, school children, scout groups and church congregations today for an enjoyable time.

The event runs weekends from September 10 through October 31.  Saturdays 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sundays 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  Weekdays and evenings are by appointment by calling 740-452-4858 or visiting www.mcdonaldsgreenhouse.com

Located on State Route 93, just 2.5 miles north of the Adamsville Exit #157, McDonald’s Greenhouse, Ltd. has been family owned and operated since 1995.
