Horseback Riding Available at the Wilds
SADDLE UP FOR ANOTHER NEW ADVENTURE AT THE WILDS
CUMBERLAND, Ohio – The Wilds is now offering horseback safari tours for guests who love wildlife and are looking for a new adventure. These tours take guests on a journey along the beautiful hillsides of the Wilds overlooking rare and endangered animal species roaming in large, natural settings.
Tours are approximately one hour in length and begin at the Wilds entrance and travel through wooded areas, along hillsides overlooking breathtaking landscapes with spectacular views of safari areas and habitats.
Horseback safaris are available daily at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and cost $30 per rider. Children between the ages of 9 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult and must weigh more than 70 pounds.
Tickets can be purchased online, at the parking booth or at any other Wilds sales register. Advance reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling the Wilds at 740-638-5030, extension 2286 or e-mailing reservations@thewilds.org.
