Artist Colony of Zanesville

We are a vibrant community of working artists who believe the arts enrich lives, expand minds, and form a vital thread in the fabric of community life.  You are warmly welcome to not only buy art, but also meet, interact and converse with artists and art enthusiasts right in our studios.

Downtown Zanesville is a historic community that fosters artistic endeavors and considers the artists as a valuable asset and a cultural resource.  Most studios are located in historicially significant buildings.  With a long history of ceramic and other art forms, downtown Zanesville is quickly becoming one of the premiere artist communities in Ohio.

Formed in 2003, the Artist Colony is a community of living and working artists whose studios are open to the public and available as a cultural resource.  The Artist Colony is in the process of attracting additional artists to the area.  If you are an artist who is interested in leasing or purchasing living, studio or gallery space in downtown Zanesville, call the Zanesville Downtown Association at 740.455.8282.
